Echocardiogram

An echocardiogram is an ultrasound that looks at the motion of your heart and the function of your heart valves.

Holter Monitor

A Holter Monitor is a portable monitor that records each heartbeat for an entire day during normal activity. 7 stickers are placed on your chest to monitor the heart’s rates and rhythm. You will be asked to keep a diary of your activities and symptoms and return the monitor the following day. Do not get the monitor wet.

Standard Stress test

A standard test measures the effect of exercise on your heart. You will need to perform exercise on a motor driven treadmill. Your ECG, blood pressure and symptoms will be continually monitored.

Stress Echo Test

A stress echo measures the effect of exercise on your heart. You will need to perform exercise on a motor driven treadmill. Prior to and immediately following exercise, the motion of your heart muscle will be visualized with the use of ultrasound. In addition, your ECG, blood pressure and symptoms will be continuously monitored.

Cardiolite Stress Test

This is more specialized diagnostic test where treadmill exercise or pharmacologic stress is combined with nuclear imaging of your heart.

Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitor

An ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitor is a portable blood pressure monitor that records your blood pressure for an entire day during normal activity. You are asked to keep a diary of your activities and symptoms and return the monitor the following day.

Bioimpedance Monitoring makes sensitive electrical measurements of the thorax that can accurately access the body’s fluid levels

Lipid Clinic

On-site testing is offered for Cholesterol management. A small amount of blood is taken from your finger and tested while you’re here, with results available within minutes. Based on results, detailed treatment (mediation / dietary) is provided at the time of testing.

Anticoagulation Clinic

This clinic carefully tracks, monitors and maintains patients on anticoagulation medication and is supervised by our physicians with the assistance of nursing personnel. Detailed instructions are provided at the time of testing.
